Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.Aseptic Technology within Packaging Technology D&E is responsible for developing Aseptic technology competencies, setting and maintaining corporate standards and developing technologies in support of future applications. Working as Development Engineer within our Microbiology Team of 14 members, where we together have skills in the fields of Validation & Testing, Basic Microbiology and Aseptic Technology you will actively contribute to Tetra Pak s future success at varies technical platforms for filling machines. For this position the main responsibilities will be to: .Support process characterisation of aseptic & hygienic processes..Lead the microbiological evaluation and validation of aseptic processes, connecting microbiological results with filling machine issues..Perform statistical evaluation and analyses of microbiological result, as well as rough identification of micro organisms..Simulate processes at test rigs as well as develop and improve test methods..Participation in hygiene risk assessments, assisting in writing and maintaining Tetra Pak aseptic standards..Build and share expertise in aseptic systems..Advise Tetra Pak organisations (Technical Service, Field) on aseptic/microbiological subjects.The preferred candidate has 5 years of experience in the area of aseptic processes, sterilisation techniques and validation processes.She/He are able to statistically analyse data and possess a University education (BSc of science or similar).Documented technical skills or outspoken technical interest is valuable when working in this position. As a individual you should have strong analytical skills in combination with a practical nature and are able to work in a structured, independent way.This also includes a high level of pro-activity when taking decisions within the area of responsibilities.You should be comfortable with working alone as well as in a team.Good communication skills are necessary when interacting in varies projects and the ability to explain things in a pedagogic way is essential.Good command of English, both written and verbal, is required.Please submit your application online at www.tetrapak.com/working no later than June 14th, 2007
