The in-line Quality Control department within Development & Engineering/Packaging Material is responsible for specification and development of packaging material quality control systems for Tetra Pak's converting factories.In-line Quality Control systems are designed to detect deviations, such as printing or lamination defects, in the packaging material as it is produced.Our responsibility further includes metrology and information systems - important building blocks for quality control systems.
We are now looking for a creative Development Engineer within Quality Control (QC).
Main responsibilities
-Translate needs from converting factories to technical specifications for in-line QC systems
-Translate requirements from converting process owners to functionalities for in-line QC systems
-Develop in-line QC system functionalities in co-operation with our system suppliers
-Continuously develop standardised usage of the QC systems in interaction with system users in our converting factories
The position is based in Lund, Sweden with approx.20-40% of travelling time.
Kvalifikationer
To be successful in this position you have strong analytical skills and a personal drive with the ability to meet set targets.You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with a pedagogical approach.Communication skills and the ability to adjust to different persons are important as you will be working cross functional with different projects and nationalities.
A candidate for this position is either an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control engineer with hands on experience from manufacturing industry or a newly graduated talent from university, preferably with a Master of Science in Engineering.You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
