Position description
Test and calculation is a group within the R&D department that is responsible for developing air handling units for the commercial ventilation market, our specific group is an important part when it comes to new innovating solutions, simulations of air flow and mechanical properties for the unit and its components.

We use both simulations tools (ANSYS) and real test in our own test facility to develop and validate our different products. There is a great variety in assignments and the roll includes working in project teams with members from many different positions to be able to release a finished product or function.

The complete R&D department which includes Software Development, Mechanical Design Technical Calculation and Test Centre consist of 25 people. It is within the group Technical Calculation were we need to fill one or two open spots.

The main part of the work will be made at our site In Kvänum however some part of the work can be made at a different location if needed.

Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are genuinely interested in product development and have analytical understanding combined with theoretical knowledge. The roll requires personal responsibility and drive to solve the different tasks within the work.

Experience and knowledge with calculation program such as MatLab, ANSYS, Simulink, Labview, CFD, FEM is a merit. Also experience of testing and evaluation is a big plus.

You have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or related degree in physics, mathematics or technology. Theoretical knowledge or working experience preferably in one or more of the following areas: flow mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, energy calculations. Experience from other areas that are of high interest are ventilation or cooling and heating.

We believe that you are open and curious of interacting with different roles and personalities and that you are able to find the balance between “sense of urgency” and quality assurance.  

Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English in speech and writing is required.
