Arbetsbeskrivning
As part of our Cable Harness team, you have an opportunity to create an exciting future both for yourself and for Scania. We now have four (4) opportunities as part of a recruitment collaboration between three different groups. We work with cable harnesses for almost all control units, actuators, and sensors on our trucks.
On our journey toward developing both today's and tomorrow's vehicles, including self-driving and electric vehicles your contribution will help drive development forward in the transport sector.
Within the development team, we work closely together, respect each other and have fun, this helps us grow. Our group is diverse, with differing backgrounds, skills, and experience giving us a real advantage in our various tasks.
What can we offer you?
• The chance to develop a broad network of contacts across Scania.
• The opportunity to work in Scania's complete development process, from early pre-development projects to dealing with quality issues in the field.
• An insight into the entire electrical system for Scania's trucks, along with a deep understanding of variant design.
Our section is responsible for cable harness 3D installation in the chassis, and bumper. We are also responsible for the wiring circuit diagram and cable harness purchased parts, for both the chassis and cab. We prepare installation documentation for production, and we also work with methodology and process development for all cable harness designers within Scania R&D.
We are a welcoming organization and will help you get into your new tasks with the support of our senior colleagues.
Examples of tasks:
• Responsible for designing, setting requirements and assuring the quality of cable harness solutions for your responsible electrical systems within one, or several, of Scania's platforms (combustion engine vehicle/electrified vehicles/autonomous vehicles).
• Developing technical documentation in the form of 3D models and/or 2D drawings.
• Continuous improvement by shaping the working methods, processes and procedures of cable harness designers.
Who are we looking for?
You have a degree in engineering from a university or university college. Experience with Catia V5 and/or the Saber or Siemens Capital electrical design programs is a plus. You have an interest in electronics and mechanics and like having a varied job in which you like to take on personal responsibility. You thrive with working with others in collaborations, working with different projects in parallel, solving problems, and thinking outside the box.
