About the company

IKEA Core Business Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.
Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units in Core Business Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs.
Within the SCD area of Design & Planning we work with securing that we have an optimal network design and are accountable to reach agreed service level by leading the inventory management agenda. We achieve this by leading the work within Supply Chain Design, Sales & Operations Planning and Inventory Management; through Planning development, need planning and planning support functions. We are now looking for a Development manager within Planning Development.

About the assignment
As a Development Manager you will lead from an end-to-end on operational and tactical level by taking full responsibility for the tactical and operational development portfolio for processes and digital solutions delivering to the IKEA Supply objectives and defined business needs. You will be responsible for high and stable performance and continues improvements within your sub area in close cooperation with suppliers and stakeholders, including supporting implementation. You will set and deliver agreed business goals to secure a high performing organization. You are passionate about the digital transformation and see process- and solution development as a key to make life easier for the many people and make a clear footprint in line with the IKEA direction. This you will secure by leading your development area by high performing teams and leaders who inspires co-workers to reach their full potential. You are a member of SCD Planning Development management, matrixes and take an active role in contributing to the overall strategic agenda of SCD Design & Planning.
About you
You are a strong businessperson with a passion for digital transformation! We see that you are highly driven by development and constantly being on the way. You dare to think differently, and you have an agile approach and adapt as we go. You are interested in technology, digitalization and finding new ways of working and are highly motivated to do this by leading business through people and collaborate and interact with different stakeholders.
You have proven experience and knowledge in:
Leading by example and having the ability to bring out the best in your team and the different partners and organisations you collaborate with
Influencing and collaborating with stakeholders in a global context
Information Technology, process and connected solutions
Project management
Agile ways of working
IKEA processes and organisations to best identify the potentials
IKEA Supply chain
Identifying and capturing business opportunities and deliver results with high sense of urgency
IKEA Business plan process and strategic direction
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
