We are in the process of reinventing and updating our e-commerce offer for the purpose of keeping our first place as the best Swedish SME e-commerce platform. We now need an experienced PHP / Javascript developer ready to take on a leading position and stear our rocket ship towards new advantures.

You can be located near any of Visma Software’s offices in Hudiksvall, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, or Munkedal - of course with a flexible hybrid work model.

Team mission With Visma Software’s e-commerce platform, Wikinggruppen, our mission is to help companies accelerate their online sales by providing a wide offering of e-commerce solutions, no matter the size of the company. By offering Nordic tailored e-commerce with the right integrations, internal system and automatisation we enable our merchants to stay ahead of competition. 

We are just in the phase of rebuilding our foundation, launching a new user interface/experiences meanwhile we are adding tons of new smart integrations, functions and in house developed products. Our aim is to have 80% of all new merchants on our new offer by 2023. And this is where you come in, to guide our team on the journey to deliver the best possible SME Nordic SaaS e-commerce offer.



Your tasks Some examples of your tasks as Development Manager for our e-commerce offer:

Build and lead an effective engineers team through hiring, coaching, feedback and career development


​​Make sure the team is adopting the right processes and routines to be an efficient R&D team


Prioritise and optimise for high speed output, and ensure a healthy balance between innovation, maintenance and support for our core offering


Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to enable sustainable and timely delivery of technical solutions 


Develop, implement, maintain and deploy core system solutions together with the team, according to the technical road map you set up




The product Visma Software’s Wikinggruppen is one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Sweden. Our platform has everything you need to administrate your online store, but we also offer all kinds of customer tailored solutions if needed. The platform is built from scratch by us, which means that everything is made to make things simpler for our developers and to help us reach our company goals. Is this you? As our next Development Manager e-commerce, we believe you have experience from and/or interests in efficiently leading an engineering team towards a common set of goals. In your work, you put a high value on quality and take ownership of your tasks.

We also wish that you are:

Experienced in PHP, Javascript, SQL, HTML & CSS


Used to work in agile development methods


Knowledgeable in how build and construct great technical products


Fluent in English


Swedish skills or experience of working in e-commerce or supporting systems is not required, but it is considered an advantage.
