Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units in Core Business Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. Within the SCD area of Intralogistics we are working with establishing, optimising, integrating, automating and conceptualising logistical flows for any unit that has a logistics or fulfilment component. The organisation consists of 6 departments: Portfolio Management, Project and Implementation, Automation & Design, Business & Product Development, Innovation and Handling & Storage Solutions and Process (HSSP). We are now looking for a Development manager for Innovation. Innovation is responsible for design, develop and test innovations to meet the demands of our customers across the IKEA Supply Chain.

Job Description
As a Development Manager for Innovation you will be accountable for the execution of the team’s tasks within any Intralogistics Innovation activity. You will also be accountable for driving leadership and competence agenda for the department and to set strategic directions to support the right business decisions and implementations for the innovation department.
As the Innovation Manager you will among other tasks:
• Develop the Intralogistics Service Offer by contributing to set the strategic direction according to the learnings, requests and stakeholder demands on Intralogistics
• Support the Development Innovation Networks, finding innovation solutions, prototyping and supporting exploration cases
• Maintain a high level of industry awareness, research new product and developments
• Delivering the innovation projects meeting the agreed quality, cost, timeline
• Lead by example, and focus on coaching and motivating leaders and co-workers
• Accountable to secure that department resources are used in an optimal way to support business goals
• Secure a transparent and sustainable information/communication flow throughout Intralogistics and to stakeholders
• Responsible for the Innovation lab, ensuring the space is efficiently utilised and we focus on the cases the bring the biggest value to IKEA
• Contribute and develop the implementation of the unit action plan and contributing to Intralogistics assignment and projects across IKEA
• Contribute to professional and long-term relationship with franchisees and other IKEA companies through IKEA way of doing business, based on co-operation, trust and transparency
Qualifications
You are a strong businessperson with a passion for digital transformation! We see that you are highly driven by development and constantly being on the way. You dare to think differently, and you have an agile approach and adapt as we go. You have a strong passion to guide innovation within intralogistics into the future, having a strong drive in the field of logistics, digitalisation and automation. You have leadership experience to lead business and people in a global assignment and collaborate and interact with different stakeholders. You have the drive to develop your team, co-workers and yourself to deliver excellent results. You strive to obtain a good collaboration and interaction with a big number of various stakeholders in various IKEA units and externally with the Intralogistics suppliers and development partners. Moreover, you have a desire to find new ways and make them happen through engaging and motivating people. Last but not least, you have a genuine interest for supply chain, as well as innovation connected to intralogistics.
We also see that you have/are:
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Strong knowledge on emerging technology and trends
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IKEA processes and organisations as well as IKEA's supply chain
• Good understanding of how your everyday work adds customer value by delivering result
• Good knowledge of IKEA Business plan process and strategic direction
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Intralogistics background, appreciation of solution and processes-oriented project management
