Development Manager Supply Chain Innovation

To support Autoliv’s mission for Innovation and development of new safety solutions for Mobility and Society we have established a new Supply Chain Management organization connected to the Global Innovation Center in Sweden. The global supply chain organization is responsible for purchasing and supplier quality activities in product and process development for new technologies, new business areas and markets. Furthermore, the organization provides logistics competence in early development phases and drives global development activities for advanced supply chain activities to capture expanded opportunities for innovation.
About the assignment
As Development Manager Supply Chain (SC) Innovation you will lead global development initiatives for Innovation and Advanced development to further boost innovation in our processes. The development initiatives span over a broad area and will strengthen our ability for Innovation connected to processes and tools, open innovation concepts, organization and culture as well as supply chain strategies for advanced development. The position will be an enabler for successful supplier/partner collaborations on Innovation.
Your main responsibilities as Development Manager Supply Chain Innovation:
Lead and drive global projects and development initiatives connected to innovation and advanced development. Ensure successful development, piloting and global implementation.
Continuously identify and benchmark ideas and development opportunities improving strategies, KPIs, processes, and tools supporting our supply chain and supplier/partner involvement in product and process development for innovation.
Lead a global supply chain network for Advanced development to ensure best practice sharing, communication and trainings for implementation and global harmonization.
Manage related competence training and communication in our global organization.
Contribute to define supply chain priorities for innovation and advanced development.
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment providing an end-to-end perspective in global development initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

In your assignment as Development Manager for Supply Chain Innovation you belong to a supply chain team located in Vårgårda, Sweden. You will be working in a global context and report to Global Supply Chain Innovation Manager, connected to the Global Supply Chain Development organization in Autoliv.
Travels will be required.

About you
To succeed in the position as Development Manager for Supply chain Innovation you have a strong ability to lead development and drive collaboration in a global matrix organization. You have successful experiences from driving transformation projects and change management initiatives, and you are confident in leading global networks or platforms.
Qualifications:
Master´s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or other related areas
Minimum 10 years of working experience
Experience from supply chain management and purchasing responsibilities
Experience from product and process development
Experience from project management assignments
Global functional leadership skills
Process management competence
Contract and Risk management competence
Innovation and exploration mindset
Business mindset
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English, in speaking and writing

Meritorious:
Experience from Automotive business
Fluent in Swedish, in speaking and writing
