Development Material Engineer

Job description:
Atlas Copco Secoroc is seeking a Development Material Engineer for cemented carbide tools. This position will focus on the development and application of hard materials; with a strong focus on cemented carbide. The work will be done in close cooperation with our companies in both Sweden and China. The position will be based in Fagersta, Sweden. A maximum of 1/3 of this time will be spent in China; travel to other locations may also occur.

Educational /Experience requirements:
- Engineer or scientist with a minimum Master?s degree in material science or similar
- Fluent in English; both reading and writing
- Ability to speak basic level Chinese and Swedish or higher; ability to write in both languages is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with powder metallurgy; specifically with cemented carbide
- Communication skills are crucial for the success in this role
- Logical and analytical skills are an asset
