The Development Support Engineer role is to improve Research & Development efficiency through product lifecycle continuously. Mainly focusing process, methodology and tool improvements and developments by identifying needs and gaps in daily operations, proposing improvements, align within the organization, lead and implement changes. However, this role supports the entire R&D, and its close connections within Wellbeing also could be involved in Global R&D improvement initiatives too. The position is located in Stockholm and reporting to Development Support Manager.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Development Support Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
·      Analyze impacts and present way of working, make recommendations for process, methodology and tools enhancements
·      Internal technical standards and methodology overviews and suggestion for improvement / organize meetings with stakeholders for review
·      Lead improvement projects related to the R&D process and tools
·      Involved in Global R&D improvement initiatives
·      Lead local implementation of global tools including testing and user training
·      Create, update and maintain process documents owned by Development Support
·      Collaborate with counterparties, collect information and attend on meetings
·      Support on-demand requests
·      Creating reports and presentations
·      Align and share experiences with key users
·      Attendance on weekly planning meetings


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
·      University degree preferred in Engineering or Technical area
·      Relevant experience from mechanical design
·      Preferably knowledge of product development processes
·      PLM system knowledge (Teamcenter is preferred)
·      Basic CAD knowledge (Catia is preferred)
·      Advanced IT and MS Office skills preferred
·      Good communication skills
·      Good networking skills
·      Excellent writing and reporting skills
·      Analyzing and problem-solving
·      Proactive
·      Willingness to travel


Required languages:
·      Fluent in English in both spoken and written
·      Additional languages are plus
