Our Exciting Opportunity
We are looking for a Developer who want to be in the forefront of large-scale software development, within our near real-time Business Support Solutions with focus on Charging (BEAM/CAF) and 5G. Our systems are developed with industry standard technologies, geared for virtualization and cloud environment, with excellent user experience in mind. Your role will include development activities such as requirement analysis, software design, integration, verification, tool design and product troubleshooting. Our focus is on Agile ways of working. We prioritize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work!
You will work with
Automation/Operation of official release processes of Products
Developing/Operating tools in a variety of programming/scripting languages.
Design/Implement improvements, striving for efficiency.
Software CM, GIT operations, automation of build systems, release handling, design environment provisioning.
And report to the R&D Line Manager for BDGS SA BSS
To be successful in the role one must have
Excellent experience in development and maintaining CI/CD process using tools like Git, GITHub, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Spinnaker etc
Ability to code and script using Java, Java Script, JSON, YAML, Python, Ansible and shell scripting.
Excellent experience in VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Openstack and cloud experience
Experience with Linux systems, Jira, Ansible, Helm
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools for Continuous Integration and Delivery
Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment, collaboration, open communication and reaching beyond functional borders to seek knowledge
