The position
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join our agile AML team for Viaplay and work with the leading streaming service in the Nordics. Within the Applied Machine Learning team you will be responsible for the recommender systems and other intelligent services that personalize and enhance the experience on Viaplay and Viafree. Your focus in this team would be to support software and machine learning engineers, and data scientist to make the journey from prototype to production as smooth as possible.

We require additional resources with expertise within the field of DevOps - and this is where you come in! You’ll work in a close collaboration within the Cloud teams, and the rest of the development community.

Your solutions will improve the continuous integration and delivery pipelines. You will be responsible for providing developers the tools they need to build and deploy on thier own terms. If you are all about Cloud and building delivery solutions - we have an offer you cannot refuse!

The journey ahead
With your experience you will help to lead the next generation delivery and hosting. Some of your daily challenges will include: 

- Support the development teams with a reliable, responsive CI/CD process to deliver predictable builds of measurable quality
- Promote DevOps principles both within and outside the team
- Increasing our software delivery performance
- Creating next generation software delivery and hosting in the cloud
- Researching new solutions to meet customer needs


What we are looking for
We believe you are currently working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer or CI/CD Specialist with relevant experience. You are an analytical problem solver at heart, quick to find solutions and with an active interest in software delivery. You should be a communicative individual that thrives in a collaborative team environment where knowledge sharing is the key to success.

Candidates should have demonstrable experience in the following areas:    

- 3+ years in a relevant DevOps role
- Strong experience with AWS services inclduing IAM, S3, ECR, Lambda and Code Pipeline
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Code Pipeline, Github Actions or equivalent
- Love learning new ideas and keeping current on new methodologies
- Excellent at prioritizing and decision making


Bonus experiences that will make you stand out from the rest:  

- Experience employing GitOps or other Git workflow strategies
- Infrastructure as code, like Cloudformation or Terraform
- Experience in designing cloud infrastructure
