Dev Ops Engineer – Software Factory

Job Context:
The Software Factory unit belongs to the R&D Software organization with the mission to enable the organization with capabilities within Data Management, Continues Integration / Development and Cloud Engineering. As Dev Ops Engineer you will be part of the Dev Ops Team working in the R&D Software organization core deliveries such as connectivity, innovation and infotainment programs.

As Dev Ops Engineer your main responsibility will be to facilitate our delivery events, processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
As Dev Ops Engineer you will report to the Director of Software Factory.

Responsibilities
· Build and automate development and deployment process
· Deploy, upgrade and configure solutions
· Translate technical requirements
· Develop interface and simulators
· Trouble shoot various environments
· Assist with planning activities
· Provide input to operational cost and risks in deliveries
· Recommend improvements through gap analysis


Competence
· Experience using Dev Ops tools and processes
· Experience of creation of CI/CD pipelines
· Experience from working with Infrastructure-as-Code
· Working knowledge of container technologies is a must (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Experience from Google Cloud Platform is preferred
· Experience from connectivity area is preferred
· Familiarity with monitoring tools
· Holistic perspective on deliveries and technology roadmaps
· Curios mindset
· Passion for technology
