Our Exciting Opportunity
Our sector, Ericsson Product Public Key Infrastructure (EPPKI), is hosted in a Product Development Unit called Development Service and Infrastructure (PDU DSI) which is one of many PDUs within Business Area Networks (BNEW). We provide Public Key Infrastructure management, Malware Scanning Services and Data Signing Services for several Ericsson products in various organizations. Due to a growing need for our Security Services, we are expanding our operations and are looking for DevOps Engineers to develop and operate our services.

You will
Work in an end-to-end team in Stockholm/Sweden in close collaboration with teams in Kirkkonummi/Finland.
Be responsible for one of the following areas, depending on individual preferences your area of responsibility will likely be a mix of:
development, maintenance and deployment of our services
operation of the SW/HW infrastructure used for development & services
regular ticket review, root cause analysis and participation in incident response
Get to work in challenging security projects, using modern technologies, widely within Ericsson


To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent
Programming, technology, process and IT skills, in particular:
Troubleshooting skills - infrastructure, OS and applications
Hands-on experience in Automation and Continuous Integration (like Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible and RPM packaging)
Communication skills
Ability to be an outstanding teammate, self-starter and ability to work in an Agile and security-focused environment


Programming, technology, process and IT skills, in particular:
Operating Systems – Linux (preferably Red Hat based distributions)
Programming and Scripting (preferably Java, Python and Bash.)
Databases and web servers (preferably MySQL, Apache HTTP and Tomcat)


Knowledge/experience in the following areas are an advantage:
Network and Information Security - risks, threats and vulnerabilities
Public Key Infrastructure and related processes, X.509 certificates
Certificate enrollment protocols, key lifecycle management and HSMs
Identity management and access control
Networking – IP networks, Firewall, IPS/IDS, Proxy, DNS, NTP, SMTP
Patch Management
VMware vSphere and ESXi product family
Customer Support, including 24/7 On-Call support
Agile software development including tools such as Jira and Confluence
Log Management (preferably remote logging and log monitoring)
Redundant MariaDB or MySQL solution - DRBD/pacemaker/Galera
