Job Description
Have you been through a change involving container infrastructure and you know that it is more than just technology shift? As part of our strategy to continuously improve our way of working, we are building a new Engineering Experience team to help us provide the best possible experience for our developers. The team’s responsibility is to provide common infrastructure baseline for microservice architecture so that the developers can focus on the business logic. The team will provide tools and process alignment to allow the rest of our engineers do their job as smoothly as possible. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture of the Dev organization, facilitate technical delivery and work with the team´s strategy definition and implementation
What you will do:
• Your main responsibility will be to provide stable and reliable infrastructure baselines for the Development teams in collaboration with IT Operations
• You will provide support for the common environments used by Development teams and continuously develop them to smoothen the delivery pipeline
• You should support the Development teams to grow and deliver healthy SW, by facilitating tools and process alignment
• You will interact with distributed Development teams across several locations
You'd like to work with these technologies:
• Container infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Test and release framework (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Repository and version control systems, (e.g. Bitbucket)
• Reporting and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, elastic search)
We expect you to:
• Be curious, self-driven, team-player, pragmatic, persistent
• Enjoy working in a self-organizing, self-managing team
• Have strong DevOps competence and experience working in an Agile organization
• Have extensive CI/CD experience (build, deploy & test automation)
• Experience with requirement gathering, documentation and good communication skills
• Be comfortable with technologies like, monitoring, configuration mgmt. & reporting tools
• Experience of Java development or software testing is beneficial
