Electrolux Global IT Solutions team is strengthening its focus and capabilities in the areas of DevOps, Automation and Monitoring. The purpose of the position is to be point of contact for DevOps, automation managed by Global Solution’s office as well as develop the DevOps journey we are embarking on. The role is key for designing the new service, as well as establishing the necessary platform for the on-going DevOps initiatives which will increase the DevOps presence in the next few years substantially. Currently the three DevOps instance are managed in a mixed on-prem and cloud architecture.
What you will do:
As highly appreciated DevOps Tool Engineer you are expected to be accountable for:
•Managing incoming pipeline of new projects and demands.
•Managing service documentation, e.g. Service catalogue content, support documentation, etc.
•Planning and performing necessary lifecycle management initiatives to keep the technical debt to a minimum.
•Co-ownership for the support process and lifecycle management of enterprise application servers
•Support to development teams to enhance the applications and their compliancy with Enterprise Hosts support policies by leveraging integration between enterprise application servers and application modules.
•Planning, implementing and integrating ad hoc monitoring solutions supporting CI/CD automation and development
•Proposing sourcing options for the services according to existing policies
•Joining interactive status meetings with internal customers and services providers to review ongoing activities and progress.
•Acting as point of escalation for operational issues affecting the services
•Create the DevOps and Automation service according to agreed mandate and set-up.
•Acting as a bridge to E-commerce / Marketing / R&D and main Customer-Oriented services
•Using advanced monitoring tools (APM and UEM) to improve user experience and root cause analysis
Who you are:
You are expected to hold a university degree in IT and have previous experience in service delivery role, preferably in DevOps, Automation and Monitoring service delivery with public clouds providers and/or on-prem environment. Some travel and willingness to adjust working hours is needed. As you know, this is a fast pacing environment which has already changed our way of working.
You are in love with challenges and you should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements.
You are also expected to work collaborative, highly motivated to deliver values, thinking strategically but also not afraid to utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us down the target operating model we have envisioned.
You are fluent in English and have no problem making yourself understood through phone, online tools or standing on a stage.
