Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The need for sustainable choices in our society and environment has never been as great as now. And Scania shifts up to accelerate the transformation of the transport industry. As a member of our team, you will very much be part of this Scania journey.
We work in Customer Digitalisation and base our service offering on our fleet of 500.000+ connected vehicles. The transport industry is no longer only about the vehicles and that is why we are investing in our people and our technology to be able to meet the rising needs of new services!
To give us an edge and the ability to act quickly to fulfill customer demands, Customer Digitalisation is organized in “tribes”. Each tribe has the vision to be autonomous and thereby take full responsibility to develop, implement and operate services to create customer benefits. Furthermore, we have a cross-functional enablement group with the purpose to enable teams to deliver value as quickly and reliably as possible.
We are now looking for a new member within a team belonging to this group.
Your assignment
You will be an important part of a DevOps-team where you and your colleagues dare to try out new things and continue to improve existing ones, love cooperation, and always move forward. We are a proactive improvement group working closely together with other departments to pick up important aspects that Customer Digitalisation needs to relate and adapt to. We also work hands-on with all feature teams to identify common pain points. Our main purpose is to enable and boost the feature teams in their agile journey so they can adapt to new circumstances and be continuously autonomous.
We offer you an innovative and stimulating environment with a positive impact both on society and on you as an individual as you will develop both your deep and broad skills. In Architecture & Enablement, you will be coached to develop in a transparent and honest way. Our cooperation is based on trust, joy, commitment, and challenge.
Your profile
We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps engineer, who has a strong interest in CI/CD and who is passionate about agile working methods. Besides that, you are a creative, communicative, humble, initiative-taking, and curious problem solver who sees opportunities and not only problems. You also appreciate working in pair or mob programming.
We expect you to have experience in:
• Cloud development in Amazon Web Services.
• Scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Deploying and orchestrating applications using Docker.
• CI/CD tooling such as GitLab-CI and Jenkins.
• Infrastructure-as-code and immutable infrastructure as the way of working.
In addition, you have at least three years of experience working as a DevOps engineer and good language skills in English and preferably Swedish as well.
We strive for a mix of experiences, competencies and personalities, so please don’t hesitate to apply if you think you have skills and ambitions that could make you successful in this role.
