Who are you & how will you make an impact?


The infrastructure organization provide Volvo Autonomous Solutions with software development tools, continuous integration and deployment capabilities, simulation technology and tools to utilize data efficiently.

You are eager to work with continuous integration and deployment, want to provide your coworkers with a reliable development platform and you enjoy giving and getting feedback.


As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working very closely with development and verification teams and making sure that services such as Git, CI/CD pipelines and other supporting tools are optimized and implemented as requested. Since our development environment is fully dockerized, experience with docker is considered meritorious. You will also be involved in the development of a Python based in-house toolchain, hence good knowledge in Python programming is expected. In addition, good knowledge in Linux, Bash, Git and CI/CD systems concepts is also required.


Supporting other teams and developers in all related tools and environments is an important part of the daily work and as a team member you will be expected to respond to such requests and to communicate with other teams.
The team’s daily work will provide you with plenty of opportunities to use various technologies. Tools and concepts such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Azure, Kubernetes, Data Warehousing, Ansible and Windows administration are part of our daily work and experiences in these are a plus.


For this role we expect a proficient level in English, both written and spoken and that you hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent documented work experience. We believe you have an open mindset, enjoy working with new technologies and continuously want to improve the way of working.
