When you join RaySearch as a DevOps Engineer specialized in Cloud & Infrastructure, you will become part of a Swedish, global growth company where you will make a difference for both our development department and for cancer patients all over the world. You will (after the pandemic) work from our new head office in Hagastaden where you will work in a team of five. You will continuously handle technical challenges within performance optimization, stability and IT-security and will work close to the development organization’s teams and products.

Your role

As Cloud & Infrastructure Developer you will play an important part of a department whose main purpose is to design, build and maintain Public Cloud and Datacenter Infrastructure as well as tools and environments throughout the development lifecycle for the development department.

You will primarily work with:

• Design, build and maintain public cloud and hyper-converged infrastructure
• Automating the build and configuration of infrastructure and development environments
• Security and compliance initiatives throughout the tech stack
• Collaborate with the development organization and ensure that we provide scalable and accessible infrastructure services and environments

Your profile

You are a service minded person who enjoys helping others. You will work closely with colleagues at the development department and your task is to make sure they have the best tools to perform their work. You are flexible and thrives in a growth company where focus and tasks change over time. You are also self-motivated and a problem-solving person, who are accustomed to face complex technical challenges.

Experience & skills

• Designing, building and maintaining IT systems
• Public Cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
• Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server)
• Infrastructure automation and configuration languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell)
• Monitoring and log management tools (Azure Log Analytics, Zabbix, Datadog, Elastic Stack)

It’s also an advantage, but not required, if you have a B.Sc. or other relevant education as well as if you have experience of Linux.
