DevOps Engineer (Grafana)

I am Darius Liubinas and I am leading Monitoring team at Assurance Services within Telia IT Production. We are a great group of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team. Your next challenge?
In this position, you will join our team of professionals in creating the next generation of It monitoring for our stakeholders and customers. We have a skilled team with tens of years of combined experience in the field, all working towards a common goal in their respective areas of expertise. We handle both operational duties as well as the development of our platforms using agile methods.
Background
Grafana Dashboard is a Telia internal dashboard service aimed to visualize performance metrics and log data extracted from various data sources like Loki, Prometheus, Cortex and many others supported by Grafana Enterprise. Service provides users metrics and logging self-service with fully automatic order and provisioning framework.
Order and provisioning framework is getting in production during summer 2021 but we continue developing and improving the service. Our vision is to provide highly efficient, horizontal scalable observability capabilities, security by design and lowest cost using best in class open-source tools.
Grafana DaaS key components and environment
As mentioned before, we are using Enterprise Grafana, open-source Loki, Cortex, Prometheus and other components from Grafana labs. Our order orchestrator is home developed in Java and we are using Ansible Core for provisioning and configuration.
Who are you?
As DevOps engineer you will be part of Grafana DaaS team that develop, maintain, optimize the product but also provide support to stakeholders. We have a wide range of user cases, from standard IT metrics to complex order flows and 5G infrastructure.
Developer skills
Must have:
Senior developer experience needed
Senior experience with Kubernetes is a must
Experience with MinIO is preferred
Understanding of Ansible is preferred
Most common database querying skills.

Nice to have:


Knowledge about Java or Python
Worked with developing APIs before (mainly Rest API but more may come later)
Knowledge about Grafana products and vendor (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Cortex...)
Ansible runner automation.
