DEVOPS ENGINEER - Nordic Baltic

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a DevOps engineer to our Virtual Compute team (Private IT Cloud). They need a DevOps Engineer to strengthen their team in VMware - vCenter, vSAN and vROps area were they today lack knowledge and time to secure needed deliveries (KPI:s).
This assignment will be performed by agile principles and according to SAFe framework, so that must be natural for you. They use JIRA as their sprint planning tool.
What you'll do:
● Developing continuous integration (CI) architecture & infrastructure while maintaining the complete software build and CI flow.
● Enabling high utilization of infrastructure, test objects and test artefacts along with creating automated tools & applications to secure an efficient flow.
● Supporting traceability to fulfil all legal requirements along with integration of new systems and functions like security, performance, scalability, reliability, and data recovery.
● Work with the full CI Chain from architecture to deployment as well as maintain our infrastructure through DevOps principles.
● Configuration, implementation and automation of Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines for software delivery, including test automation frameworks.
● Continuously improve speed, efficiency, scalability and stability of continuous integration system and environment.
● Design and implement visualization of development status to create transparency and enable appropriate actions.
Who you are:
● You need to be structured and service minded team-player that likes to take on new challenges, but at same time can execute and deliver independently when needed.
● Have a M.Sc. in Electrical and/or Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar relevant experience.
● Technical experience in VMware vCenter, vSAN, vROps, Automaton and coding/scripting on basic level, VMware NSX-T and Tanzu.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language
