Who are we?
We continuously provide reliable and transparent data to enable fast actions and/or decisions on solution deliverables. System Team builds and assists in using integration in HIL (Hardware in the Loop) Environment and takes care of the maintenance of all Rigs. We ensure one CI in the Vehicle Platform. We supply in-demand expertise to Teams and ARTs for CI knowledge.

What will you do? 
Being the DevOps Engineer at the Vehicle Platform and CI infrastructure team would be the perfect challenge for you who wants to make a difference.  We offer an exciting career opportunity, and we value diversity. We are now seeking a committed and collaborative colleague who wants to join us with the primary responsibility to build, maintain Continuous Integration products, be involved, and build the different tests Rigs needed. You and the team’s focus are to secure the CI product at the Vehicle Platform. Also, you contribute with a strong sense of customer focus and business acumen in management forums as well as in co-operations with fellow colleagues, team members, and suppliers. Your contribution is very important regarding the department’s future business direction and results.

About the team: 
The new group within Department Solution and Architects, 92100 consists of responsibility for CI Infrastructure and Rig responsibility. As this is a completely new group at the Vehicle platform you will participate to build up and develop the team from start. You will build up a network with a Complete Car environment so that the domain CI VP can communicate. You will continuously solve impediments in the flow and synchronize WoW and methods.
We continuously provide reliable and transparent data to enable fast actions and/or decisions on solution deliverables. CI Infrastructure Team builds and assists in using integration in MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and HIL Environment and takes care of the maintenance of all Rigs. The team will be the knowledge center of Flow from Commit to Complete Car. Standardizing the software flow, supporting, training & informing the ART about WoW, and creating new tools and methods/ processes will be your main responsibilities for you.

Do you fit the profile? 
We believe you have an M.Sc. in engineering or equivalent technical experience for at least 4 years and experience from the Agile way of working and developing CI systems with a DevOps mindset. If you have a system integration (System thinking, decisions considering the whole CI system) experience in your previous role this will be a benefit for you. To be successful in this role also need to be good at stakeholder relationships. In addition, we believe you have a valid driving license.
If you have a working experience within Volvo Cars and knowledge of the Volvo Product Development System this will be a plus!

Some tools/ languages that you will work with: 
Software Languages: Python, Java, YAML, Linux, Zuul, CM tools (Ansible).
Message Bus, Docker, Artifactory, CANoe / VECTOR tools experience, dSPACE tools.
