DEVOPS ENGINEER - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace.
What you'll do:
● Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure and understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
● Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats as well as identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
● Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
● Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience and develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
● Working with planning departments to get software and systems up and running in a timely manner, and ensuring long-term scalability for the business and developing digital infrastructure and working on automated code to improve efficiency and reduce risk
● Staying on top of industry best practices and trends, as well as changes to compliance requirements
Who you are:
● Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
● Documented experience in CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Elastic stack, Nexus, SonarQube.
● Used to working in an environment consisting of both on-prem and cloud solutions.
● Have proven expertise in infrastructure and system management with a focus on Linux.
● Experience with DevOps tools, processes, culture, distributed systems, and supporting mission-critical systems.
● Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
● Knowledge of infrastructure and system management with a focus on Windows.
