DevOps QA lead

Cepheid is a leading molecular diagnostics company dedicated to improving healthcare by developing, manufacturing, and marketing accurate yet easy-to-use molecular systems and tests. Our facilities in Solna develop and manufacture diagnostics tests that improve patient outcome all over the world.

The role
As the DevOps QA lead you will get to work in an international, and fast-paced organization that offers an opportunity to grow, while also contributing to improving lives. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our forward-thinking team of developers and testers to assure timely deployments, patch releases, and infrastructure updates of high quality. An essential part of this role is risk management: identifying and mitigating safety, cybersecurity, and business risks, assuring that these activities are carefully documented according to established procedures.
Responsibilities
The daily work of the DevOps QA lead is to


Assure that established procedures and validated tools exist for deployment, backup and restore, change control, IQ/OQ/PQ etc.
Drive continuous improvements on infrastructure and production environments, including working closely with supplier quality regarding evaluations and qualifications of new suppliers.
Build working relationships with stakeholders in Software Engineering, Program Management, Customer Care and Product Owner to ensure efficient teamwork and reduce product time to market
Participate in DevOps activities from planning, testing, documentation, deployment and qualification
Ensure that product- and change control documentation is compliant towards regulatory requirements and Cepheid's Quality Management System
Facilitate Cybersecurity Risk Management activities throughout the entire Product Life Cycle
Participate in failure investigations of customer complaints to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, and that complaint resolutions conforms to intended use and user needs

Qualifications
We believe that to succeed in this position you have at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably even an advanced degree within Computer Science, or similar. We believe you also have a strong understanding of quality systems methodology and applications. This combined with following experience will increase your chances of being qualified for joining our team:


Training and certification in Lean Software Development, Cloud Software Performance Testing, Continuous Integration etc. is advantageous
Demonstrated ability in a DevOps QA role, or similar experience of related activities, preferably in a regulated industry, such as medical device or diagnostics.
Experience from QA, configuring and testing Amazon Web Services environments.
Experience from working with computer systems validation and qualification in relation to Part 11, or Annex 11, in medical device industry
Experience from performing cybersecurity risk assessments of cloud deployed software.
Proven knowledge of domestic and international quality systems and other standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001 etc.
