DevOps to build SWS in the AWS

DevOps to build SWS in the AWS

Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you want to be a part of building Scania Workshop Suite, SWS, the next generation workshop tool used to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update Scania trucks and busses?

We are now looking for a DevOps or Delivery engineer who would like to help us on that journey.

Our services and products are used 24/7 by more than 15.000 technicians in Scania’s global service network to keep the rolling stock of more than 800.000 vehicles up and running all the time.

Your challenge

is to make the feature development teams succeed. By providing them with a top-notch AWS experience, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to brag about, and a bulletproof environment that survives the harsh reality online. You do this together with likeminded in a team.

What are we looking for?

You are the grown-up hacker with the skills to set up complex systems in the cloud. After university, you have been working in corporations with enterprise solutions used by many many users. You can take us from where we are today and into the future by ensuring we are utilizing the best AWS services, we stick to best practices and making sure everyone keeps their stuff up to date. And you make all that a walk in the park for the feature teams.

You are equally helpful online as IRL, explaining to all from top management to the most senior developer how the latest and greatest AWS service would help us improve our users' experience in a language they understand.

You have done it all and what you haven't done you learn as you go in an agile manner.

Management

With me as your manager, you get the x-developer still missing coding but finding equal satisfaction in seeing people grow and to give our user the premium tool they are longing for. I help out by answering the questions what? and why? but I leave the how to you. Three words describe me; pragmatic, transparent and supporting.
