Arbetsbeskrivning
At Doro, we are dedicated to helping seniors live a better life. We care about the seniors – they are our heroes. Everyone should have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life without compromises. We want to make aging an independent, secure, and rich part of life.
Our wide portfolio of security and care solutions digitally connect generations and provide solutions for independent living, both inside and outside the home. Doro is the market leader in social alarms in Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom and the global market leader in mobile phones for seniors.
Want to join us? We're looking for a DevOps with good knowledge in software development that shares our passion. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you!
Our offer
In an international organization, you will work in a small software organization where using innovative technology to help seniors is our core business. At Doro, we strive for a work-life balance, to give you a dynamic workplace where you can continue to develop your skills in a team where we co-operate and support each other.
You can choose to work from either our office in Malmö or Madrid. However, during the pandemic, we mostly work from home and do most of our meetings over Teams.
About the position
Doro Care is a small software organization, so you will probably get your hands dirty in a little bit of everything. You will work closely with our architects and developers. Take full ownership of our deployment processes and be an ambassador for DevOps in our organization.
That said, here are some things you will likely work on:
• Deployment, configuration, maintenance of test, demo, and production environments.
• Deployment and configuration of databases and application servers: Nginx, Node, MongoDB, Redis, ActiveMQ, Elasticsearch.
• Network management and maintenance.
• Deployment, configuration, and management of integration and continuous delivery tools: Jenkins, Git.
• Create and improve on existing documentation.
• Active in making sure that our tooling and processes are continuously improving.
• Improve our CI/CD pipeline.
• Software development (probably not every day, but you will likely need to touch the code from time to time. Backend is written in Java/Python).
• Share knowledge about DevOps with our engineers.
Are you the one?
We believe that you have at least 2 years or more experience from a similar position. Below is a list of the knowledge and personality traits that we think could help you succeed as DevOps at Doro. We understand that not all of them will be a perfect match for you. They are just a list of things we appreciate.
• You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.
• Get stuff done and think independently about priorities and the bigger picture of what we are doing.
• Advanced knowledge of GNU/Linux system administration.
• Dockers in production environments (Portainer, Kubernetes, or Swarm).
• Cloud and virtualization
• Deployment, configuration, and management of integration and continuous delivery tools: Jenkins, Git.
• Configuration and management of platform monitoring tools.
Just as we try to employ an agile process when we develop our product, we want our people to be agile too. So, if you feel like improving your skills in an area that is not currently your expertise, we applaud and encourage that!
