DHL is looking for a Transport Program Manager

We are looking for a Nordic Program Manager for DHL Supply Chain Transport Solutions.


As a program manager you would be responsible for leading solution implementations for our 3PL and 4PL customers in close cooperation with the business, our internal and external IT systems as well as external transport providers. You will be responsible to set the standard process for transport solution and coordinate the implementation project teams.


You belong to a central Nordic organisation and report to our Managing Director for Retail, Fashion & Transport Solutions. Travelling within the Nordics to lead implement project is required. Position can be based in either Gothenburg orStockholm.



Your main tasks include

- improving our existing IT tool for the 3PL Transport solution
- manage implementation projects in cooperation with the transport solution team (network design, procurement and operation)
- manage the indirect reports involved in the program (IT providers, operation excellence and key account or business development)
- ensure project lifecycle processes are met using DHL project management methodology, processes and tools, ensuring project deliveries are on time and budget


We expect you to have

- at least 3 years experience of project management with track record from similar positions involving both Transport, IT, 4PL and Operation
- experience of leading change programs
- strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills
- self-motivated, open and reliable attitude
- soft and hard project management skills and tools including change-, stakeholder- and risk management, project methodology (certification is meriting), planning, MS project, MS power point and MS excel
- bachelor degree including project management or similar
- fluent in English and at least one Nordic language


It's qualifying if you have

- good understanding of supply chain management, outsourcing deals, construction, warehouse design, -processes or IT systems in 3PL & 4PL environment
