Diagnostic Engineer - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Diagnostic Engineer who is experienced in handling diagnostic requirements and have knowledge within OBD legislation.

What you'll do:
● Manage and understand data, process data requests, and maintain and leverage team templates.
● Work with the division of requirements, interpretation and discussion with suppliers related to diagnosis and error handling.
● Test the implementation in vehicles, working with data analysis and validation of functions in test fleet cars and customer cars.
● Handle error amplification and robustness analysis as well as establishing data-driven feedback of the performance.
● Perform vehicle validation using both vehicle simulation software as well as on-vehicle validation.
Who you are:
● Have a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent area of education and must have relevant working experience.
● Several years of experience working in the automotive industry with function development/calibration/verification of diagnostic systems.
● Have experience with software development via scripting tools or other standard programming languages.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Experience from working with inverter/electric machine development as well as from automated integration testing and testing/debugging of embedded software systems.
