Core System Software Team
At the department of Core System Software we are building a high-performance computer-in-the-car architecture designed to host software-driven functions and features in our next generation pure electric and self-driving Volvo models. In other words, instead of multiple electronic control units around the car to control individual features and systems, Volvo Cars next generation cars will have a centralized computing with a core system that serve as a platform for our stakeholders and partners to deploy applications on.
Our multi-core architecture includes high-performance (HP) systems on a chip (SoC), providing a framework for current and future services. We are now looking for experienced diagnostic system engineers with a genuine problem-solving attitude to strengthen our organization.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you are a highly skilled system engineer with several years of experience from working with diagnostic in automotive. You are genuine problem solver with a positive and solution-oriented mind-set. You are known to be a team player, you are curious, have a great ability to learn. You embrace the agile principles, and you have a continuous improvement mind-set.
We believe that you have experience and knowledge in
* Diagnostics standards (ISO14229, ISO17987, ISO15765, ISO13400 and SAE-J2012). 
* Structuring, creating and maintaining DTCs and related data as well as configure UDS services as needed for each sub-system. 
* Create and release diagnostic specifications.
* Experience of VCC way of working, tools and systems
