At Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we are currently looking for Diagnostics Function Developer to join the Electrical Propulsion Diagnostics Systems Team!

We are the Electric Propulsion Diagnostics group, a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology’s Electromobility organization. We are a team of highly skilled professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds, who share a passion for technology and developing products that make a difference for the Volvo Group’s customers and society. Our responsibility is to create a diagnostics system that can detect and pinpoint malfunctions in the electric propulsion system.
The Electromobility department combines the benefits of a large international company with the feeling of working at a small company. There is close collaboration between different parts of the organization from sales and purchasing to workshops and labs all located in the modern, inspiring facility CampX. Teamwork and collaboration are the foundation of great products and an attractive workplace.


Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and a problem solver. You are communicative, have good technical skills and are curious about learning new things. As a person we believe that you have a solution and result oriented attitude.
To be able to take on this challenge successfully we believe that you will possess the following skills and competencies:
Master of Science in Engineering or similar.
More than 2 year experience of diagnostics development within the propulsion domain.
Previous experience in embedded SW-development, including the use of Simulink/Targetlink.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Meritorious competences: Phyton, C programming, Electrical propulsion development, C/D driver license, CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, OBD regulations.

You and the team will have to set requirements, propose, investigate, and agree on solutions, implement the solutions and follow up the solutions
Develop a diagnostic system that shall determine the condition of the component in the system that is diagnosed
Develop requirements for the diagnostic systems and fault handling towards suppliers
