The team includes designers, chefs, architects, buyers, writers and many others – approximately 160 are working in the Stockholm office in Södermalm – sharing their expertise and experience and working towards a common goal. There are also satellite production and sales teams in countries around the globe working closely with ARKET’s suppliers and customers.
Job Description
About the role
As Digital Business Developer you will drive business development through projects and initiatives that supports our overall strategic goals and brand mission. You will identify new digital initiatives based on global insights and future trends and prioritize on business value. The assignment covers digital projects online, OMNI and Sustainability. As a digital business developer you report to Digital Business Development Manager within Growth department and collaborate cross-functional within all departments at ARKET as well as several functions within the H&M Group and external partners. We encourage you who bring insights and experience from markets or businesses outside of ARKETs current range to apply for this role.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
Identify, prioritize, and develop digital initiatives based on business value
Proactively drive and deliver cross-functional projects on time within budget and scope

A collaborative, proactive and self-driven person who is eager to learn and develop both yourself and the people you work with, you can work both independent but also enjoy being part of a team and achieving things together. To thrive in this role you need to be communicative, structured and organized as well as being a problem solver that is self-motivated and sees possibilities. You have a genuine interest in digital innovation, digital business and e-commerce as well as fashion and lifestyle. You are used to working towards tech department and logistics with business priorities, projects, and development. If you have experience from working with External digital platforms that is a merit.
We believe you have a proven working experience as a business developer or project manager within the digital business and you have relevant educational background, preferably in the fields of business administration and/or engineering.
You will be be an ambassador for new digital businesses within ARKET to help and encourage all departments to drive ARKETs digital journey forward
your profile
To be considered for this role you have:
3+ years experience as a project manager or business developer
a Batchalors degree in engineering, economics, or marketing
Experience working cross-functional between several different departments
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Strong communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
A proven and genuine interest in digital businesses
You bring a new/unique perspective to our team

This is a temporary full-time position for one year to cover for parental leave that could possibly transition into a permanent position after the cover period. Starting as soon as possible, and located at ARKET Head Quarters in Stockholm.
