Digital Channel Lead – Volvo Buses Digital Services & Solutions
The position

We are now accelerating our efforts in digital services and solutions and are looking for a Digital Channel Lead for the Digital Channels team that will drive development and change management activities securing adoption of digital channels contributing to Volvo Buses service growth target.

Digital Services & Solutions is a recently formed function within Volvo Buses with the global responsibility for digital services and solutions over the life cycle. In close cooperation with our customers and stakeholders, Digital Services & Solutions are responsible for defining, developing and delivering world class solutions that ultimately drives earnings and profitability for our customers and for Volvo Buses. On an overall level, we have the global responsibility in the following areas:
Enterprise Architecture & Data Security – ensuring a robust digital foundation
Business Development & Partnerships – driving business development and partnership set-ups
Connected Services – ensuring world class connected services for sustainable people transports
Digital Channels – the platforms for customer digital touchpoints and “digital home” for all connected services & solutions
Business Solutions – ensuring world class digital solutions to support operational efficiency
This is how you make an impact
As Digital Channel Lead you will drive improvement initiatives enabling premium customer experience in all digital touchpoints. You will lead definition of business requirements and cooperate closely with development teams to translate requirements into solutions. Your primary focus will be Volvo Buses Customer Portal – Volvo Connect, but you will also work with other digital channels. You will be responsible for leading change management activities such as communication, training, and key user coaching to secure adoption of Volvo Connect platform. You will work closely with different stakeholders facilitating knowledge sharing and key user network.
As Digital Channel Lead you will also drive competence development in digital services area enabling growth of service sales. You will collaborate with Connected Services team, market companies and other stakeholders internally and externally to design, develop and deliver training programs.
Who are you?
You are motivated and self-driven individual with strong relationship building capabilities who enjoys working with others. You are passionate about change management, and you are eager to apply your skills to secure adoption of technology enabling service sales growth.
You have background as business analyst, change manager, project manager, key user or equivalent. You have participated in improvement initiatives such as IT system implementation or process changes working with communication and training.
We also believe you have some of the following capabilities:
Good understanding of change management principles and methods
Very good communication skills, ability to communicate with stakeholders at any level and build trust and relationships with the people and organizations
Excellent organization and coordination skills, ability to apply structured approach to deliver results
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and team-working skills
You communicate with ease in English, both spoken and written
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel is expected.
