We’re now looking for a Digital Communication Specialist – an experienced and dedicated team player who wants to be part of building something new and thrive in breaking new ground in a digital arena. This is a unique opportunity to join SMF on an exciting journey where communication plays a central part in succeeding with the business strategy.
Your mission
In this brand-new position, you’re playing a key role in establishing our digital presence for SMF. Your tasks include analyzing and understanding our target groups, designing and developing our digital channel strategies and matrix along with both web and social media as well as online communities. As part of a new team, you contribute to efficient external and internal communication by ensuring that SMF has the digital communication channels and distribution strategies needed. Together in the team, you ensure that the channels and its content are continuously developed to reflect the brand and strategy ensuring high quality messaging to relevant stakeholders and a consistent tone-of-voice.
Your assignments combine both creative and analytical work in a fun and supportive environment. As the SMF Communication function is new, you take part in developing the way of working with communications within SMF and you have a great opportunity to shape your own role. The role includes editing and producing films, podcasts, webinars and other content as well as web editing and SEO, together with creating digital marketing campaigns, structuring content in different channels and interacting with agencies. Working in a software intense setting, you monitor and engage in online communities and engage our organization in the right conversations. You monitor, track and follow-up our content, as well as create distribution and publishing strategies on our channels. You collaborate closely in the team, supporting and engaging in each other's topics to succeed with the mission together.
You report to the Vice President and Head of Communication at SMF. This position allows for work in either Sandviken or Stockholm. Other locations can be considered for the right candidate and some flexibility is required to support our global organization within its different time zones.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Marketing or Communication and experience from managing social media and various communication platforms. You’re digitally savvy, constantly looking for the latest trends and know where to find different target audiences and how to utilize various channels in the best way possible. Complementing this, you have experience in areas touching project management, strategic and operative digital communication management, preferably in an international B2B environment or B2C company. You’re an efficient user of different Microsoft 365 programs such as Yammer, SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint. Working in a global arena as this one calls for fluency in English, both in written and verbal form, and Swedish is beneficial.
Most notably, you’re a true team player who both take their own initiatives, whilst simultaneously engaging with a collaborative mindset. You’re an enthusiastic individual with good skills in communication and a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and all its surrounding technology. You have solid networking skills with an interest in getting to know the business you navigate in. Last of all, you’re curious and humble enough to ask any question that arises.
