Job description Ready for the challenge of a lifetime, working with the world's leading company in microwave transmission?As part of our commitment to broadband for next generation networks, Ericsson is strengthening the design team working with advanced technology products such as MINI-LINK and Marconi Long Haul.We are seeking to employ digital designers to work on a wide range of projects, tasks including the selection of design solutions, simulations, signal integrity issues, verification and fault-finding. You'll be part of a close-knit team covering all phases of hardware development from subsystem design and implementation to integration, verification and quality follow-up.More importantly, you'll be part of a company that is passionate about its people and its technology. Competence You're a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues across other business disciplines, but equally, you can work well independently.You must be able to take responsibility, work together with colleagues to drive work packages, and act on your own initiative.You will have previous experience from digital design and you should be familiar with tools such as Mentor Graphics (BA/BS/RE/XE, Expedition).You should also have knowledge of measurement techniques and familiarity with tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.We also welcome newly graduated applicants without extensive experience but with an education in electronics, a strong interest in the area and a desire to learn.You should also have: .A Bachelor or Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent .Good written and spoken English . Good communication and cooperation skills .
