Founded in 2018, our Responsible AI & Data team works on a twofold mission: to use AI and data as a force for good to create meaningful growth and reach H&M Group’s sustainability goals, and to actively work to prevent causing unintentional harm by our AI and data-driven business operations.

Job Description
As a Digital Ethics Lead at H&M Group you will have both a strategic role to create a consistent way of working with questions related to digital ethics across the company, and at the same time provide operational on-demand support to the business.

Your main responsibilities will be:
· Act as subject matter expert for digital ethics at H&M Group
· Lead the overall digital ethics agenda
· Responsible for policies and guidelines within the area of digital ethics company-wide
· Chair relevant internal forums in coordination with key stakeholders
· Provide guidance and support in digital ethics to the business
· Initiate and drive various training and awareness-raising initiatives
· Provide ethics expertise to governance processes and tools for AI, data-driven technologies and other emerging digital technologies

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following qualifications:
· Degree in social science or philosophy with a focus on the ethics of technology and data
· Deep understanding of ethical and governance issues at the intersection of technology, ethics and society
· Demonstrated experience and knowledge of methods for ethical assessment of digital technology from working in the industry or academia
· Strong stakeholder management skills
· Ability to navigate a fast-changing environment
· Ability to drive strategic work as well as support business on-demand
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is a full-time permanent position. You will report to the Head of Responsible AI & Data.
