Digital Experience Designer (DX) to home electronics company

MultiMind is looking for a DX Designer for a leading consumer electronics company in Stadshagen. This is an exciting, consultancy opportunity starting as soon as possible until mid-September to start with.

About Client: Our client is a global leader in home appliances and appliances for professional use, based on deep consumer insight. They offer thoughtfully designed, innovative and sustainable solutions, developed in close collaboration with professional users. The products include refrigerators, ovens, cookers, hobs, dishwashers, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, and small domestic appliances which they sell in 150 markets.

Position Description: Concept and design work for a connected cooking ecosystem that consists of ovens, hobs, and hoods. Will be built upon the work that's ongoing in the first track. Activities include

Concept creation for a small kitchen ecosystem of food preparation that includes both the single and multi-appliance use cases.


Designing UX and UI for new user flows and iterating existing designs based on user research outcomes and stakeholder decisions.


Prototyping to communicate design decisions and to be used in usability tests.


Co-creating with users, stakeholders, and other designers.


Coordinating frequently with Track 2, Track 1, and other ongoing UI projects for hobs.


Must have: Strong Interaction Design and UX skills for DX designers (especially in mobile)


Concept development, strategic design, and workshop facilitation skills for the Experience Designer


Strong mobile prototyping experience


UI experience and a keen eye for visual design


Being a team player


Strong communication skills


Being a self-starter


Good command of design and prototyping applications such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Framer


Good to have: Appliance interface (digital) experience would be nice to have for the DX role


Design research and usability skills and experience


Familiarity with agile processes.
