Digital Forensic Specialist

About this opportunity
We are now searching for a Junior Digital Forensics Analyst for the unit within Group Security based in Kista/Stockholm/Sweden. The main responsibility will be a service to collect digital evidence and load to our investigation tools, this is also a starting position for doing forensic investigations! This role is part in driving a dispatch function, collect evidence, communicating with investigation partners, follow up of cases and providing statistics. The unit is responsible for the areas of security investigations, digital forensic expertise, and protection for insider threats in the company

What you will do
Pre-process and process digital evidence using digital forensics tools.
Publish processed digital evidence in e-discovery applications such as Relativity.
Advise investigators/reviewers of digital evidence handling and processing, advance data interpretations accurately as required.
Uphold, visualize and share situational pictures with relevant stakeholders based on incoming reported security incidents and global geopolitical situation.
Analyze data and recommend advance data interpretations accurately as required to management and security incident command center.
Collect digital evidence in a forensically sound manner while preserving chain of custody
Support in investigations according to the standards needed to meet internal and external requirements on the investigative process
Assist in the development of new forensic services, methods of investigation, case and evidence management and or tools as the need arises, maintain abilities of emerging technologies to test, and assess new tools. You will also advise investigators/reviewers of digital evidence handling and processing, advance data interpretations accurately as required.


You will bring
A Bachelor’s degree or equal in a related field or practical experience are required.
An interest and knowledge in Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics and IT Security.
Excellent Swedish and English, both verbal and writing is a requirement. Other language skills are meriting.
A meticulous, analytical, and detailed oriented way of working.
Knowledge in various platforms, data mediums and technologies.
Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Meriting:
Microsoft Azure, O365 experience working with security related functions and services.
Forensics of diverse operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
Digital Forensic Certifications are meriting.
AWS, GCP experience working with security related functions and services.
Performed security investigations.


Primary location for this role: Kista, Sweden.

You will report to the Head of Security Operations.

Vetting including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
