Who We Are
Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) Nordics is a fast growth business with vision to significantly scale up over the coming years. Coverage of companies in the Digital and Technology space is a core part of this strategy, and will be a major revenue contributor to the cluster’s expansion. The primary responsibilities of the Digital Industry Team Lead will be to carry out our expansion strategy in the Nordics covering Digital and Technology CCB clients, while also building and managing a portfolio of clients. The role involves day-to-day cooperation with Citi colleagues in various countries, including relationship, product and implementation teams.
Key Outline
The person selected for this Stockholm-based role will nurture the growth of revenues from CCB clients in the Digital and Technology space who are headquartered in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. You will acquire and build new customer relationships and provide solutions for Nordic Digital and Technology CCB clients, while coaching a growing coverage team. An ongoing commitment in Identifying new revenue streams and flows is required in order to deepen market and wallet penetration for revenue realisation. Through those activities, you’ll achieve an annual growth rate in revenue for the Nordics CCB business whilst overseeing Digital clients’ sales performance.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage and coach a growing coverage team focused on building new and developing exiting client relationships in the Digital and Technology space;
· Revenue responsibility for Digital / Technology clients in the Nordic region;
· Acquire new, multi-product, Digital / Technology customers for the Bank while performing client level planning and having budget and revenue responsibilities;
· Managing existing relationships and providing service for CCB Digital customers in the Nordic region;
· Develop a deep understanding of the local markets and build long lasting relationships with regional Digital ecosystem players, drive thought leadership and partnership;
· Ensure that the right value proposition is developed while leveraging Citi’s capabilities and network;
· Responsibility for quality of the credit portfolio, origination in line with Target Market, prompt problem recognition;
· Close cooperation with Banking Capital Markets and Advisory teams to address opportunities within the regional Digital space;
· Frequent interaction with other CCB structures across the globe;
· Verifying adherence to global Know Your Customer (KYC) standards during the onboarding and periodic review processes;
· Participate in structuring new product solutions specific to Digital clients and the industry segment.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Languages:
· Excellent knowledge of the Digital / Technology market, customers, ecosystem, competition, local regulations;
· Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills;
· Deep knowledge of corporate finance, FX, cash management and trade products are needed;
· Thorough understanding of banking products for Digital / Technology customers;
· Experience in Commercial / Relationship Banking with international customers;
· Ability to assess credit risk of Digital / Technology companies;
· Experience of the implementation / onboarding process;
· Exploring issues and generating solutions. Analysis and use of a diverse range of environmental and business information to identify business priorities and making decisions to deliver business benefits;
· Ability to engage appropriately at all levels in the organization and build relationships with a variety of business and external sources;
· English – Fluent;
· Nordic Languages – Advantageous.
