What's in it for you?
Internal Control Digital is a global function within the Digital Core organization. From a high-level perspective, the team’s main focus area is to support and advise the Volvo Car Group organization with mitigating risks through implementation of Internal Controls and complying with internal and external requirements that affect our Digital solutions. The team is in the middle of a large transformation, needing to adapt to new business models and increasing external regulations. As a member of the Internal Control Digital team, you will be involved in several exciting initiatives and workstreams, where you will be able to take large responsibility and work in close collaboration with the rest of the team and other relevant stakeholders across the company. Some of our upcoming key activities include the implementation of Volvo Car’s new cross-functional GRC system, integrating internal controls into new business models, and agile ways of working.
The position is located in Gothenburg and the primary location is our office at Lindholmen. To encourage work-life balance, it is possible to work flexible hours and good possibilities to work remotely.
What you’ll do:
We now seek to strengthen our team with a Digital Internal Control Specialist. As a Digital Internal Control Specialist you will report to the manager of Internal Control Digital. The work includes both, working with regular tasks as part of the daily operations, such as business impact assessments, control reviews, managing self-assessments, support operations with remediation of control deficiencies, and general advice/support to the organization.
The role also includes working on a tactical and strategic level, where you will be able to drive initiatives and lead projects from start to end.
Who you are:
We are looking for you who preferably have a couple of years of experience in external/internal IT Audit roles or other internal control-related roles with a focus on IT. Experience from applicable industry frameworks and security standards, e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, and COSO is also of high relevance. Furthermore, a relevant certification within information security, e.g. CISA or CISM, and experience with GRC technology is highly beneficial.
Competence and experience are important, but personality is key. We are looking for someone passionate, engaged, and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to contribute to the continued transformation of Internal Control Digital. You are a self-starter, willing to take ownership and drive initiatives to resolution and have an ability to work both independently and also close together with the rest of the team and various stakeholders. Sound communication and collaboration skills are needed for this position.
