We are now looking for a Digital IP Coordinator to join our IP Legal team. The IP Legal team is responsible for all IP assets in the H&M Group. These are trademarks, design rights, copyrights and patents and digital IP assets such as domain names and social media account names. We handle prosecution, enforcement, clearance and litigation of all IP-related issues within the H&M Group.
As a Digital IP Coordinator, you will support by maintaining and developing our strategy for protection of H&M Group’s digital IP assets, such as domain names, social media account names and apps. You will constantly evaluate the best ways to increase global brand awareness, trust and traffic to our sites and online stores. You will become an important part of the H&M Group, striving to maintain a well-balanced, healthy and secure protection of our digital IP assets, working in close collaboration with local markets and internal functions such as Marketing, Communications and IT.
Job Description
Support and maintain the domain name portfolio and strategy, coordinating with internal stakeholders across the company as well as external agencies
Support and maintain the social media brand protection strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company as well as external agencies
Support the Legal team on matters related to domain names, social media and IP online infringements and similar matters
Act as an internal advisor and collaborate with all departments and H&M Group brands on all domain name and social media matters in accordance with strategy and policy
Keep up to date with trends, market changes and developments including benchmarking against competitors and best in class, to improve our current strategies and policies
Manage and support our external agencies, ensuring a superior quality of communication and delivery. Support any possible procurement
Collaborate with all departments and H&M Group brands in maintaining business requirements in accordance with Domain Name Policy and Online Brand Protection Policy
Assist with the promotion of all digital IP asset related processes and policies across the H&M Group
Qualifications
As a person, we believe you are a social, communicative and an ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. In order to be successful in this role, we also believe you have:
A degree within marketing, IT, legal or related field is meritorious
2+ years of experience in a consultative admin role as part of a marketing, IT or legal department. Experience in lieu of degree
A good understanding of how the internet works and experience in the management of domain names, social media accounts registration and app accounts from an IP perspective
Understanding of Intellectual Property Rights, Trademarks and Copyright, connected to domain names, social media and other digital channels
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, multitasking and experience of project management
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization. Additional languages are of high value
Capable of thinking outside the box and create new ideas
Appreciated additional skills:
Knowledge of DNS (Domain Name System) and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
Knowledge and understanding of SEM and SEO
Experience in working with omni-channel and customer experience
Web analytics and Marketing skills
Understanding of Cybersecurity related matters
Experience of training and creating guidance materials or policies would be useful
Additional Information
This is a Full-time permanent position with start date as soon as possible. You will preferably be based in Stockholm, but we are open to look at placements in other countries if it’s not possible for you to relocate. You will report to the Head of IP/Team leader.
