What’s in it for you? 
Manufacturing Engineering is a global function with responsibility to introduce/launch new car programs and processes in Volvo Cars´ plants or joint ventures/partners. The main customers are manufacturing plants by product and process projects, to whom we supply installations of equipment, industrial strategy plans, methods and know-how.

What you will do?
Final Assembly Digital Leader purpose:
* Secure that the Manufacturing Engineering needs are prioritized in ME Digital x-functional team
* Own and prioritize the Manufacturing Engineering deliveries from FA to ME Digital x-functional team
* Assure that the Manufacturing Engineering strategies are value adding parts of the total business value
* Lead cross functional team within FA to set priorities, future needs as well as Vision.


Do you fit the profile?
We think that you have a University degree in engineering or equivalent experience alongside that you are highly skilled in process equipment and new techniques if you also have skills in Project management this is very positive. We presume though that you are fluent in English, both oral and written. 

If you also have experience from Manufacturing Engineering, production, knowledge in virtual tools and can speak/write in additional language(s) this is meritorious for the role.

On a personal level
You enjoy working in a team and see benefits in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, furthermore you have a natural ability to interact with others being a good communicator that can build long-term relationships as well as be responsive to the needs of both colleagues and customers. 

On a personal level you like to work logical and find it thrilling to collect and interpret data, alongside this you enjoy when things happen in a fast pace. You can see the big picture easily and is very accurate in everything you do, as well as you like to take a lot of responsibility, always working hard to reach the targets that is set. One skill you have is to be ahead of things, improve yourself so that you are prepared for the coming actions needed.
