Within Corporate Communication, the Digital Experience team secures excellent digital user experience for all Volvo Group’s corporate stakeholders, across a multitude of channels.
Our team members have different professional and educational backgrounds, but we share the same passion to deeply understand the continuously evolving digital communication eco systems in order to set the right strategy as well as implement related ways of working for the Volvo Group.
We are now looking to welcome a new Digital Marketing Strategist to our team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with communication and marketing managers and content creation teams in designing the right tactics enabling us to reach and engage wanted audiences.
Your main playing fields are social media channels, search engine marketing platforms and marketing automation technologies but as a digital strategist you always need to consider the full user journey including platforms and channels not in your direct scope.
The role requires a genuine interest in understanding digital communication and marketing algorithms and technology, but also excellent pedagogic and communication skills in order to guide colleagues in how to work.
You will report to the Director Digital Experience.

Main activities and responsibilities:
Drive Volvo Group corporate communication digital communication and marketing eco system strategies in close collaboration with communication managers
Partake in communication campaigns to collectively set tactics
Facilitate Volvo Group level knowledge sharing and formation of common strategies when applicable
Technology and channel governance manager – ‘reach’ and ‘engage’ focus - Define ways of working, coach colleagues and operationally administrate platforms and channels
Experience and Education
Broad experience from marketing and communication technologies and strategies
Deep experience and proven track record from social media, performance marketing and marketing automation technologies, strategies and activation
Experience in user journey mapping methodologies
A degree in economics/marketing or other relevant education in marketing/digital
Project management experience is positive
Experience from Adobe Experience Cloud is positive
Key competencies
Ability to apply knowledge of digital marketing algorithms and technology into real communication contexts
User journey and data driven skills and mindset
Self-drive and capable of working independently, yet collaborative
Sound balance between structure and control vs embracing a culture of collective and collaborative innovation
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
