Who we are
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is the unit within Volvo Car Group that is responsible for all commercial activities in the EMEA markets, through our National Sales Companies, Importers and Retail Partners.

You will be part of the EMEA Marketing & Communication team, in the newly established Performance marketing team, reporting to Paul Appelqvist.

What you'll do
Volvo Cars EMEA is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the digital marketing team. We are looking for someone who has both passion and proven expertise in digital media channels (programmatic, social and paid search) The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a desire to work in fast-paced environments to dramatically accelerate new business growth.

Together with a group of other specialists, you will set the standards for how our digital marketing strategies and best practices in EMEA region. You will also lead up the campaign, always on and test-and-learn roadmaps for around 5 markets in the region. Data driven decision making is at the core of what we do and we will continuously build out both strategies and best practices from findings in the tests that we set up.  
In addition to your main responsibilities, you will support larger product launches and brand building campaigns. You will also collaborate with SEO and content creation to identify and fill content gaps on website, collaborate with analytics / web development for suggestions on new A/B tests on-site as well as collaborate with data strategy / mar-tech around targeting and audience opportunities.  

Who you are
You are a digital specialist passionate about marketing and up to date with the latest trends and best practices on targeting, creative optimization, automation and attribution in digital marketing channels. We believe you have at least 3 years’ experience from in-house or agency operations and have a strong analytical side basing your decisions on data. 

In the role you will be involved in recurring meetings with local stakeholders from our national sales companies (NSC’s) why previous experience in a customer facing role is a plus. The local stakeholders in the NSC’s are your customers and it is important that you can relate and translate their commercial goals to digital marketing activities. You should have solid skills in at least a few of the global marketing platforms we use such as Google DV360, Google Ads, SA360, Facebook Ads and Google Analytics 360 to name a few. 

The characteristics that you will bring to this position is that you are a results oriented team player with attention to detail. You will be the specialist here, so you will also need to challenge the status quo and not be afraid to speak up and drive change in your areas of expertise. We also believe you have a curious mind and are a self-starter who can identify and drive new opportunities.  

Qualifications
•    Academic degree in relevant area
•    3+ years experience
•    Full English proficiency
