As a person we believe that you have a passion for a fast-paced, future-oriented environment and have the ability to collaborate across different IKEA functions and stakeholders. To thrive in this role, you need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively, have a strategic mind-set to see the big picture, and embrace constant changes.
We believe that you have been working with digital channels, ecommerce and online marketing techniques for a minimum of 5 years. Your knowledge in digital range presentation methods and solutions are well developed and up to date. Preferably, you also have experience from meeting the customer by working in the store. Previous IKEA experience is a requirement for the role.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
Together with the markets, you will create a visually stimulating and engaging digital experience that inspires product discovery and purchase. You will design the online retail spaces and home furnishing solutions in order to be visually attractive and to drive sales. Besides a strong collaboration with the markets you will collaborate with Market Support and especially Sales Optimization and the Customer & Consumer Insights team.
More in detail you will:
• Optimize the digital channel with the customer experience in mind based on gathered facts and input from the markets, striving towards a consistent customer experience
• Grasp and analyse changes in shopping behaviours that could impact range presentation
• Support defining and implementing proven principles and ways of working for online range presentation based on research and testing
• Understand cultural and behavioural differences in order to consider local or regional adaptions for new or improved functionalities, where needed
• Share insights with key stakeholders in the global organizations on how to improve the customer experience with regards to online range presentation, navigation and categorization
• Support the development of learning content in collaboration with the Learning Designers across functions within Ingka Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses to secure a strong and aligned consumer experience across touchpoints.
The role is based in Malmö and you will report to the Digital Merchandising Manager. This is a temporary assignment for one year with start date during summer 2020 (replacement for parental leave).
