Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Digital Modeller to play part in dynamic job opportunity in our cross functional team were the surface designers, industrial designers and studio engineers together develop the cars of the future.
What you'll do:
● Build digital concept models according to designer’s input and secure technical feasibility (with support from studio engineers).
● Adjust degree of details in accordance with timeframe and maturity in the project and deliver digital models according to our Standard.
● Interpret abstract ideas into the creation of compelling photo-real or stylized 3D assets.
● Presenting work in a turntable style environment with acceptable lighting for progress reviews and approval (including scale reference).
● Ensuring consistency of UV mapping and polygonal subdivisions and facilitate the creation of high-quality photo-real texture maps.
● Create “hold out” geo, or Match-Move geo, which is not necessarily seen in the final render but are used by downstream departments, such as Lighting and FX, to be able to generate more realistic outcomes.
Who you are:
● Experience as self-going surface designer with at least 2 years of education within the surface design field.
● Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills of English language.
● Technical skills of Autodesk Alias or other adequate software skills for advanced concept modelling along with structured way of working.
● Self-driven team player with open mind to learn from surrounding result oriented and flexible.
● Basic CATIA V5 knowledge is a merit (model check) along with Polygon modelling skills which will be meritorious.
