To secure a successful journey we are looking for a Digital Officer (DO) to challenge, enable and drive digitalisation as well as promote cross-functional cooperation within the trucks department. The Digital Officer shall contribute in the strategic and operational approach to digitalization. The role will work close to management, as part of the extended truck sales management team. As a digital lead you have the possibility to influence the future of how we optimize our sales, follow-up profitability and secure success by adapting to the new digital landscape. You will also be a vital part of setting the organizational lineup and governance to facilitate digital development..

 

Your tasks

As Digital Officer for Trucks, you have the responsibility to


• Secure the connection between the global Scania strategy and the digital roadmap of the Trucks organization.
• Develop and refine Trucks’ digital vision and ambition and keep the portfolio of digital initiatives vital, relevant and anchored (Digital roadmap owner).
• Represent Trucks in cross-functional forums, e.g. Scania Data Board to secure that data is made accessible, well-structured and ready for use.
• Take an active role in the DO network to drive the overall Scania digital acceleration.
• Act as the sponsor and a sounding board of the digital initiatives, including for example future business intelligence, robotic process automation and eSignatures.
• Enable and support an agile and innovative approach to business development.
• In some initiatives, get hands-on in the experimentation and development of new solutions in close cooperation with the initiative driver and the enabler functions within Scania IT.
• Create a movement and attract followers within Trucks by communicating and educating within the field of digitalisation to drive individual and team productivity.

 

Your profile


• You have proven success from driving and implementing change management projects linked to digitalization, either from a consultancy, large/mid-sized industry or tech company.
• You have an academic degree and experience from working in or close to a commercial environment with a profitability and volume assignment.
• You have proven results from tech development projects.
• You have a documented knowledge in solution architecture and IT landscape as well as data management and warehouse platform understanding.
• You have an entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach. Design thinking and co-creation have been part of your previous work tasks.
• You follow the digital trends in society with an understanding of the implications on business and future ways of working.
