YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Digital Platform Engineer you and your co-workers are closely working together to enable our engineers to develop, test and deliver digital products in the most modern way. By doing so we can better meet the needs of our many customers and accelerate our transformation towards a more Digital IKEA.


Knowledge and responsibilities:


As the Digital Platform Engineer you will be a developer who codes and implement framework that developer teams will use and customize to improve their testing. You have proven training in information, computer science or equivalent. You are experienced with modern tools. You are experienced with the agile principles, CI/CD and DevOps practices.


Further in we would like you to have:


• Experience with CICD strategies, continuous testing and related tooling
• Experience in internal coding of framework and setup development pipelines
• Experience of coding applications/tools for development teams
• Support and maintain both bought and self-build tools
• Understanding of cloud technologies and be up to date with latest trends


Together as a team you will be responsible for creating/developing/finding new solutions of tools, processes, framework etc. which will enable the developers to increase speed and quality in their deliveries.


As a person you have the ability to achieve tasks by using your own judgement without support, to deal with ambiguity and to work with changing priorities. You enjoy troubleshooting with analytical abilities and problem-solving thinking and you also understand the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.


In this role you will report to the Team manager Marie Lindblad and Product Owner Sandra Fridälv.


ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
We set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast moving environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services through the use of new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace.


We have a direct impact on how the Ingka Group builds, delivers and tests their digital products going forward. Long story short: this means you get a say in shaping the future of digital retail on a global scale!
