Who we are and what we offer:
The function Marketing & Customer Satisfaction belongs to the function Regional Value Chain Truck Sales Operations (RVC TSO) within Volvo Trucks. We are a global function which spans the European Regional Value Chain, supporting the European, International and Chinese Sales Areas and the markets they cover.


The Marketing & Customer Satisfaction department is responsible for supporting markets’ and sales areas’ needs in the development of strategic and tactical marketing communications, efficient channel management and driving customer satisfaction initiatives. We are an engaged team with high ambitions focused on delivering effective marketing communications initiatives based on customer insights.


Your mission:
Your mission is to develop and govern the Volvo Trucks public web platform and portfolio of web applications to ensure our online presence supports business objectives and provides an excellent online experience for our key audiences. Driving the strategic and tactical roadmap for our public web by translating business needs into technical requirements.


Key responsibilities:
Understand and translate business needs into technical specifications and influence UI and UX decisions
Prioritize backlog and drive the development of Volvo Trucks web platform and web applications in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders within Volvo Group
Manage key supplier partnerships to ensure successful, and on budget delivery, of digital platform initiatives
Keep international user’s community informed of new releases, features or updates on developments
Drive user adoption and trainings of web platform, systems and tools
Document, analyze and improve processes
Secure efficient user support and incident management
Set, monitor and act on KPIs to secure optimal online experience
Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure a common roadmap of Volvo Trucks marketing technology portfolio
Inspire and educate RVC TSO, sales areas, markets around emerging technologies, best practices and how to best leverage the web as part of an omni-channel experience

Who are you?
You are a self-starter with an analytical mindset and ability to drive a long-term digital platforms strategy as well as working on operational level on a daily basis. Working in an agile and iterative environment with many stakeholders is familiar to you. You are service-minded, flexible, curious and enjoy problem-solving. Your listening and communication skills enable you to work efficiently with both IT and non-technically savvy colleagues.


Critical competences for the position:
Minimum five years of experience in digital platform and web applications development in a complex enterprise setting
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in marketing, IT or related field
Specialist competence in CMS systems, for example Adobe Experience, is a requirement
High proficiency and experience in driving UI/UX development
Competence in marketing technology and process development
Understanding of system architecture, APIs, data modeling and design
Excellent problem solving and project management skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
