The role
As a Digital Platforms Manager, you are offered key responsibility for our major platform systems that form our core backend for the digital enterprise and consumer services. This position will report directly to the Head of Digital Technology within the global digital organization and will be part of the digital technologies management team. You will drive strategy to action by ensuring that the digital platforms roadmaps are in alignment with the overall global business plan and stakeholder requirements. This includes optimizing processes, enabling our platform development, system performance as well as support and maintenance activities to consistently exceed operational goals. You will join and coach a passionate team consisting of platform owners, technical leads, engineers and service partners. Together with the team you will manage the daily operations and development within each specific platform to ensure they function reliably and effectively meet the needs of our stakeholders. You also will interact with key stakeholders such as digital leads, architects and managers within the digital office and business line organizations.

Additional responsibilities

- Monitor budget management and cost-effective planning, adjusting and adapting it to business needs
- Create and manage ITIL processes for incident, request fulfilment, problem and change management.
- People development: manage and mentor the platform/service owner staff through goal setting, performance reviews and experienced coaching
- Be accountable for digital platform contracts, professional services contracts, platform maintenance renewals to ensure appropriate protections are included
- Be accountable for working in conjunction with digital security officers to ensure that all platforms/services are secure and meet global regulatory
- Liable for evaluating, selecting and implementing platform tools, services and partners while being responsible for vendor management of all platform partners


We think you have the following experiences and skills

- A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in information technology or a business function related to Digital Platforms
- The ability to think logically and independently, solving complex problems in your assigned area of responsibility
- A team spirit mindset and ‘’can do’’ attitude
- Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and verbal 
- Experience across digital platforms such as ERP, CRM, Cloud and PLM
- Experience of working with the lifecycle management process
- Ability to be customer-oriented in managing communications and issues
