Your mission
As Global Online Business grows, we are looking for a passionate Digital Process Owner that can take on the task of Online Pricing processes and systems. In short, you make sure prices are correctly applied in all systems and on invoices with the right application of incentive. You will join the Direct Commerce Solution team and work together with Product Owners and our delivery expert team on developing our new subscription business – Care by Volvo. Care by Volvo is Volvo Cars new direct to consumer business model, so you’ll be part of shaping the future of the company in one of our most prioritized areas. Of course, we have fun whilst doing it.
What you´ll do
Your task is to create, build and connect the backbone for our global consumer online pricing capabilities that will deliver our online and subscription services and make sure we apply relevant incentives per market. In this role, you will be the person driving the establishment across the board and maximise value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the digital product team’s backlog from a business perspective. With the mission to streamline the execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/components. You are the voice of the user; you have a business perspective and technical knowhow.
Responsibilities include:
* Setting the Global Online Business roadmap as well as articulating the short- and long-term vision to the team and relevant stakeholders. Capturing requirement from various stakeholders, e.g. revenue management team, commercial team, tax, and architects. Building, prioritizing, deciding, and refining the stories in the backlog including defects and enablers.
* Work with delivery teams to implement and refine processes as well as to solve operational issues. Support during development and sign off UAT.
* Being up to speed with the market trends in the area of consumer online pricing capabilities and consumer incentives and taxes affecting our products per market.
You and your skills
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* Leading and driving product strategy as a Process Owner, Product Owner, Product Manager or equivalent.
* Building and operating consumer pricing solutions preferably within a global multimarket environment and/or within E-commerce.
* Working with financial ERP-systems, preferably SAP/S4Hana.
* Higher education
* Fluent in English, both verbally and written
You are excellent at communication, presenting and relationship building with teams and global stakeholders. You have a holistic viewpoint and being value oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working towards a goal. It is also an advantage if you are used to agile development methodologies and working in digital product teams.
